Registering a .sy domain from abroad
Syrian domains are registered through registrars authorised by the National Authority for IT Services, and Horanos Tech is one of them. These are the steps from our Syrian domains page:
- 1Search for the name to see whether it is free, and its price.
- 2Order it through the cart and pay the invoice.
- 3Download the official form and fill it in: the owner's name, e-mail, phone, country and address, and two name servers.
- 4Sign and stamp it, then e-mail it to us scanned. We review it before filing and tell you of anything missing.
- 5We file it with the Syrian registry and tell you when it is done.
Registration starts once the form is complete and the order is paid. You do not have to live in Syria: a Syrian abroad registers with the same terms and papers.
