A Syrian .sy domain
You can move a .sy domain to us from another Syrian registrar. Horanos is officially accredited to register Syrian domains.
- 1Ask us for the transfer in a support request or on WhatsApp, with the domain name.
- 2We send you the papers the transfer needs.
- 3You send them back signed and stamped, and pay the invoice.
- 4We complete the transfer and tell you once the domain is with us.
The transfer does not change the domain's holder or details. Only the registrar changes.
Before you start
- The domain is active, not expired.
- The holder's e-mail at your current provider is correct, so the approval message reaches you.
- Generic domains usually cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or of their last transfer. This is a general rule, not a condition of ours.
- Do not change the name servers (DNS) during the transfer, so your site and e-mail keep working.

Will my site or e-mail stop during the transfer?
No. A transfer only changes who renews the domain; the name servers stay the same, so your site and e-mail keep working.
What is the transfer code?
A password for the domain, called EPP or Auth Code. You get it from your current provider's panel or support, and it proves you own the domain.
Can I move my hosting with the domain?
Yes. Moving your site is free on every hosting plan: we copy the files and the database and test the site before pointing the domain to it.

Yes. The whole transfer works remotely, and you can pay with any of our payment methods, including PayPal.
